Any evidence of cheating or other violations of the Georgia Tech Honor Code will be submitted directly to the Dean of Students. Cheating includes, but is not limited to:
  • Using an unapproved calculator, books, or any form of notes on tests.

  • Copying directly from any source, including friends, classmates, tutors, internet sources (including Wolfram Alpha), or a solutions manual.

  • Allowing another person to copy your work.

  • Taking a test or quiz in someone else's name, or having someone else take a test or quiz in your name.

  • Asking for a regrade of a paper that has been altered from its original form.

Homework: Homeworks will be assigned once a week and they must be turned in on time.
Homework turned in late will not be graded. But some lowest homework scores will be dropped at the end of semester.
Tests: There will be two in-class midterms and one final exam.
Grading: Grades will be based on the exams and homework, your best 9 homeworks count for 25%;
 in-class midterms count for 40% (20% each); the final exam counts for 35%.
  Curves: Curves will be determined by the median of the final percentage at the end of the semester. However typical letter intervals are
A: 90% and higher, B: 80%-89%, C: 70%-79%, D: 60%-69%, and F: 59% and under.
